We’re Birdie June Events & Rentals!
Taressa and Clarae met in a high school production of Beauty and the Beast and became best friends during their time at the University of Oregon. Their friendship is built on many nights of talking over teen dramas, hours spent on DIY projects, obsessing over the works of Stephen Sondheim, and long walks in their shared neighborhood.
About Clarae
Clarae is an actress and model and claims musical theatre as her first love. She has been performing in shows for nearly 20 years!
She has always had an eye for interior design and is currently curating her home one room at a time. Clarae loves hopping between thrift stores with a hot soy latte in hand searching for unique and vintage pieces.
Clarae is the type of girl that’s been dreaming of her wedding since she could walk, and is excited to assist you in expressing your personal style on your special day.
About Taressa
Born and raised in Springfield, Oregon, Taressa loved being able to work in the Springfield Public School district as a 3rd-grade teacher! Her career took a pivot when her daughter was born prematurely in the fall of 2022. Once she came home from the NICU, Taressa decided to leave the classroom to continue being her mom full-time! She has been with her husband, Alex, for over a decade, and they love seeing life through their toddler’s eyes.
Taressa feels that wedding and event planning brought her back to what she loved most about technical theatre. When it was time to plan her own wedding, she realized how much she enjoyed being the director and stage manager of her own “wedding production”… and also learned she needed a wedding coordinator so that she could just be the bride!

During Taressa’s transition into motherhood, Clarae was by her side nearly every day enjoying every milestone.
Birdie June Events and Rentals was built with a baby napping on their chests while they allowed themselves to dream of what they wanted from their careers moving forward. And finally, who is Birdie June??
Birdie June
Birdie is a three-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd who came into Clarae’s life when they both needed each other most. Even though she has never explicitly voiced an interest in events and rentals, Birdie knows that none of this would be possible without her.
